well, the following's ripped from my blog entry. enjoy :) ;

i havent felt such happiness in me for such a long time. i never thought a small little performance could make such a big difference in everyone of us. i shall dedicate this post to all my fellow guzheng-mates. for the twelve (hello huimin! you're a cool conductor!) of you who played at zhenghua square yesterday, thanks for all the lame-ness, the crap, the fun, and laughters. although it was really a last-minute, unprepared and small scale performance, i think we have succeeded. succeeded not because the music was perfect, not because we played perfectly, but because we enjoyed ourselves and played with our hearts. honestly, i think this is the first time i could feel Us playing as a whole, i could sense the common passion, different individuals coming as one, producing a piece of music. the music wasnt perfect, cos i screwed up my solo, the passion was. dear all guzheng-mates. i know cca sometimes may seem boring to you all, frankly, me too. i fell asleep. but no matter what, please come with a positive attitude, dont come for the sake of coming, learn to appreciate life as what it has planned for you. next year, we are going to face with big challenges, SYF, CONCERT, FOA. it will be stressing, and a lot of pressure will be placed on everyone of us. please remember, dont fret, everyone is going through the same course, we are going to tide over as a whole. your attitude is very crucial, the moment you lose passion, everything is gone. you view practices as a waste of time, rehearsals as boredom etc. i really dont want to continue. these challenges are there for us to overcome. in life challenges are meant to make you a stronger person, a person with a better attitude and amplitude. for guzheng, it will make us realise our passion, our common goals, our skills, and i really hope it will bond us further. bonding isnt just about coming to together and have fun, i think it should be the willingness to be together no matter what happens. jiayou everyone, and when you really feel like giving up, think about the beautiful picture of us playing on the stage. i thank you all, for adding colours, and spicing up my life. before i go, i shall add. two things which i think is lacking in us. discipline&passion. its isnt easy for the seniors to take control of everything, everyone plays a significant role. i just want to highlight, (this applies alot on me as well XD) , while you are enjoying yourself during practices, please dont get too carried away, practice that minimal amount of self-discipline. and it will do miracles to yuhui. i really dont want the seniors to scream or shout at you all. your discipline really means alot to us. ohyah. please dont think that whatever the seniors do is right, if you have suggestions for improvisation, please feel free to voice out your views. i dont want all of you to view us seniors who does things without asking for opinions. we need to learn from all of you too! thankyou :)) lastly, passion cannot be developed so simply. and currently, im still raking my brains on how to light the passion in everyone's heart. AND LET IT BURN. if you have lighter, light it on your own, if you dont, borrow light from others, and yours will burn as strong :)
