maybe i shouldn't say so much, because i haven't been that good also. like what liting said, 我在不适当的时候说不适当的话。but, i have something to say.

i mean, some people still have that heck-care attitude. don't even turn up for cca and wants to do well in concert and syf. maybe they don't even want to take part in the concert and competition. no competency at all. and i mean it, AT ALL.

they don't care if they practiced at home.
they don't take initiative to help out.
they don't care about what's going on.
they are not worried at all.
practicing or not practicing guzheng at home has no difference to them.

and what sort of excuse i hear when i ask out of concern why they did not turn up for cca, i never bring my nails. HELLO. YOU KNOW THURSDAY IS A CCA AND YOU DID NOT BRING YOUR NAILS. and its not because or you forgot, you totally dont bother to bring it. didnt even bother to say sorry. at least turn up for cca, borrow a few nails and get started practicing.

you are not doing well and yet you don't turn up for cca days. reminded you to come for cca today on time, at 8.30am must get guzheng and wear your nails. you say, never mind one lah. i am always late one mah. makes no difference. it makes alot of difference, its just that you dont bother to open your eyes big and SEE.

you know who am i referring to. and though i have no authority as anyone to say this but its irking me. :((( and i am 超及不爽。and yet you still give me all these crap. you never turned up for so many practices, bless laoshi, she still allowed to let you play songs in syf and concert. and you still never 醒悟. taking the chance for granted.

you passed the audition in the first place because laoshi believes that you have the right attitude. you've proven her wrong man. its almost 1am now, 3rd march. 3 weeks to concert.

what have you got to say for yourself? must you force laoshi to 一个一个听then you will be willing to practice and memorise all your scores?

this post is directed to you know who. if you feel a pang a guilt welling up in you right now, wake up your idea of slacking through the remainding 3 weeks of the concert. if on 24th march, we don't own the stage, who else will own it?

the stage is ours on 24th march. being in a performing arts cca means you belong to the stage. the stage is yours to own. whatever you do during cca hours or practices at home, they all come out to this.

you spend 10 years downstage practicing. you only own the stage for 3 min. if you were to practice less than 10years, you will own the stage for less than 3 min. maybe less than even a minute. people pay for quality performance. they are paying $10 to see the 3min of you onstage. are you going to perform well for 1 min and screw the rest of the 2 min up? or maybe, based on our current situation, screw up the whole thing?

if you are not worried, then i tell you today, do some soul searching after you have read this. this is not a post to distress. this post is written because there are just some people out there who don't give a damn about anything happening.

if you are not concerned about our progress and your progress, then your heart isn't with the concert. you don't have the right attitude to make the whole thing a success.

if we tried our best, we put in everything, EVERYTHING just for the concert and syf, and the result isn't up to our expectation. then fine, because things then will be out of our control, but we know that we have done our bests. but now. look at you, look at us. you think we can do well?

i dont think so. so if the results isn't up to our expectations, then we can only blame someone, and that's US. because we haven't tried our best, we don't feel like trying our bests, we don't bother to try our bests.

if there are some people who can sacrifice their sleeping hours to practice guzheng, to do what they can for the ensemble. why can't you. we all go through the same things. some people, perhaps even tougher. sleeping 2-3 hours a day only. maybe lesser. but if we were to all put in part of us into this "project" i think our seniors don't have to work so hard. they don't have to be so 操心. chasing after us, see if we have memorised our scores.

i think there's something we all have to do. and that is to look at your attitude, do some soul searching. and ask yourself. what have i been doing. what am i doing. what am i doing this for.
