hey guzheng :)

yesterday was just.. wonderful.

i was telling my batchmates and zhenglaoshi that i didnt even feel such overwhelming emotions last year. but after the concert yesterday i felt like crying! Especially during menglihua, i just felt so touched by the love and spirit of nygz. Looking at everyone enjoying every minute up on stage, singing together with lydia, immersing in the music we have created. It felt so good. :)

you know i'm really proud of you all. wanted to say this yesterday but didnt wanna hold you guys back any longer so i'll just say it here la okay :)

it's really touching to see how all of you have grown so much in the past 2 years. from young blur juniors to where you are now. standing up leading the ensemble, leading your sections, and most importantly, a confident player on stage. And also how many of you have learnt what it means to put emotions in your playing. to sec3s and sec4s, you guys have done a good job leading your juniors :D dunno what else to say. just v proud of you all :) to sec2s, didnt have much interaction time with you guys. but i'm equally proud of you all because i can see and witness the efforts you guys have put in for the past year. i must say i was really taken aback when i saw the efforts you all made for dong zuos! it's not easy for sec2s to be able to do dongzuos. haha i dont rmb myself doing them very well in sec2. but i must really commend you all! cos i think you guys were great.

nanyang guzheng will forever hold a very special memory. everytime i come back, i just feel so at ease and most importantly, i feel belonged. it's this happy family feeling :) like what mrs teo told us, she loves guzheng for the spirit we have. she sensed happiness in us when we were playing our songs and that's what we have always wanted to achieve! ah okay alot of things to say, but i cant seem to put them in words.

i'm just so grateful to have been part of nygz :)
